2.1Secondary qualifications:

I completed my Matric (Senior certificate examination) with Middleburg Technical High School, Mpumalanga in 1995.

2.2 Tertiary qualifications:

I qualified as an Electrician 21 September 1999 with the Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board, at Colliery Training College (CTC) in Witbank.

I also completed Trauma care level 1 (March 1997), Maintenance of flameproof equipment (July 1997), Gases and gas testing (September 1997), Electrical course for underground production machines (September 1998), Medium voltage systems training course 1100V to 33Kv (June 2000 & April 2003), Advanced training on ICMS system (March 2006), SLC course 1 (April 2006),

3.Employment history:

Worked as apprentice electrician (January 1996 – September 1999) and qualified Electrician (September 1999 – January 2007) at Matla Coal, 2 Mines in Kriel which I left after 11 years of service.

Worked as electrician at Anglo-American Inyosi Coal (Kriel Colliery) from January 2007 – March 2018 at which stage the mine changed ownership to Seriti Coal Proprietary Limited.

Working as Electrician at Seriti Coal (March 2018 – January 2020) where duties include:

-All electrical servicing, maintenance and fault finding from 24V to 11Kv

-Main ventilation fans, substation, power cables and conveyor belts installations & maintenance on surface and underground

-Power reticulation from surface to sections underground (6.6kV & 11KV)

-Maintenance and fault-finding on flameproof 1000V air compressors, guniting machines and water pumps

-Acting foreman position when foreman was on leave. Duties included ordering of spares /equipment and managing of employees.

Currently employed at Stromabex where duties include electrical conveyor, substation and lighting installations.

4.General:
