Job Purpose

To ensure implementation of the approved safety program of the project to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions through proper coordination and correspondence to Company's project Contractors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend weekly progressive meeting that involves the main contractor, the client and consultant

Make sure that method statement and risk assessment is being reviewed prior to commencement of work.

Organize site visual walk through every two days in a week

Monitor health, safety and welfare of all the employees

Give occupational health and safety advice that is tailored to meet specific requirements

Use knowledge and skills to promote a positive health and safety culture in the workplace

Responsible for ensuring that main contractor comply with safety legislation and that safety policies and practice are adopted and adhere strictly to the laid down system

Monitors noise and vibration and ensure all erected scaffold are inspected with tags and well secured.
