Job Responsibilities:

As Project HSE Advisor, I have the responsibility to ensure that implementation of HSE Policy and its procedures is adhered to in line with the roles and regulations, laws of local government, consultant, and the client to achieve zero accidents and to provide a safe working environment on site.

To develop and implement Health and Safety Plan, Environment Management Plan, Fire & Emergency Response Action Plan, Weather Working Plan, Logistics & Traffic Management Plan, Electrical Safety Management Plan, in line with Expo2020 H&S Assurance Standards.

To provide proactive and visible leadership and management for Health and Safety, promote and support the program on a daily basis, drive high standards, and ensure complete compliance with the Expo 2020 HSQE Strategy.

To ensure that the implementation of the Worker Welfare Plan and provision of suitable welfare facilities from the start and maintained throughout the project duration.

To inform the Project Manager and Supervision Consultant of all accidents and incidents, diseases, and dangerous occurrences. Investigate and report accidents and incidents in accordance with the Expo 2020 reporting procedures.

Monitoring employee exposure to workplace hazards and brings solutions to improve the working conditions.

Provide an effective Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) program in order to improve the quality of work life and environment.

Assist in the development and deployment of toolbox talks, safety bulletins and other communicated media regarding HS&E activities.

Implemented the control measures as per SHEMS directive to safeguard the work force against Covid19 pandemic.

Provided professional advice and technical information on SHE matters to ensure compliance of SHEMS and Local SHE Regulations on site.

Undertook daily site walks to identify site hazards, non-conformance & implemented corrective and preventive measures.

Monitored high risk activities such as confined space works, lifting activities, work at height, movement of abnormal loads, excavations, temporary works, etc.

Liaising with Consultants & Subcontractors on SHE related matters.

Reviewing of MSRA, conducting POWRA, carrying out Incident Investigation & Fire Risk Assessment on site.

Raised awareness of Kier Minimum & Group Standards for site team through TBTs & SDTs.

Provided professional advice and technical information on SHE matters to ensure compliance of SHEMS and Local SHE Regulations on site.

Implementing and maintaining PTW system at site and conducting safety induction to the new arrivals.

Report all unsafe act and condition to site supervisors and engineers. Advising them for corrective action.
