• Supervise and coordinate and work major plumbing, heating and sprinkler projects in New York City.

• Plan and layout work by interpreting blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematics.

• Assure projects are completed timely, to code and at or under budgets.

• Plan and schedule labor needs ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing.

• Determine materials needed and assure they are purchased and delivered only as needed.

Qualifications:

• 12 years supervising crews

• Experience reading blue prints

• Experience with high end NYC alterations/installations and repiping.

Full understanding of all building systems ( H-Vac systems )

Read, draw, and comprehend construction drawings.

Detail oriented, clean, neat, and proficient in all aspects of site preparation and safety.

Familiar with: submittals, contracts, and change orders

Familiar with BID process - material take-offs and price quotes

Can arrange sign-offs for inspections by building department for the major trades and can expedite work permits to start work on project sites

Able to estimate costs based on the needs of projects or on a job by job basis
