Systems Analysis Specialist

The Statistics Center is one of the Government Organization in Dubai.Its maintain historical data for Surveys all the government sectors in Dubai. We have around thirty departments in Dubai to maintain the data, the ETL process is for extracting the data from different systems, convert/transform the data and load the data into our centralized statistical center data warehouse.The ETL system is required to automatically load daily data periodically in a limited time. Furthermore, the system supports the loading of original data and historical data and the demand of extension. For loading the data warehouse, the ETL procedure can be divided into three stages, namely Extract, Transform and Load. The ETL process needed to be slightly different for historical load from incremental load. Almost all the Jobs have been design in order to correctly load the data for historical and incremental as well.

Worked on implemented change requests for this project.

Understanding database design schemas for different sources.

Interacting with the client regarding data and functional requirements.

Used Oracle as the target database. Source database is a combination of flat files, Excel, SQL Server tables and Oracle tables.
