CHEMICAL CLEANING OF BOILER (GOVERNMENT AND PVT PROJECT)

● The primary reasons for the chemical cleaning of condensers, pre-boiler

(turbine), and boilers are to prevent tube failures and improve unit availability.

● A relatively smaller quantity of deposits creates difficulties in a high-pressure boiler. Deposits originating both from fabrication should be considered potential problems.

● All pressure parts of a steam generator may be subjected to heat treatment of some sort doing fabrication of erection-during forming operations, stress relief, welding, or bending whenever carbon low alloy steels are too high temperature in the presence of air, oxidation occurs.

● The oxides produced are known as mill scale.

● Chemical cleaning is done for the removal of these foreign materials and keeping the pressure parts internal cleans.

● Maintain 270 HP high-speed motors and pump maximum 800 cu. meters/hours high flow rate pumps.

● Temporary line fabrication. (Pipe size 24, 12,10,8,6,4,2,1)
