WORK HISTORY:

Arthroplasty fellowship:

I got selected for arthroplasty fellowship sponsored by UP ARTHROPLASTY ASSOCIATION and worked under one of the eminent and reputed surgeons of India Dr A S Prasad. I had a good exposure in knee and hip arthroplasty and as well had an opportunity to do TKR in simple varus knees. During this tenure I was given an opportunity to deal trauma cases individually.

APOLLO HOSPITALS,VISAKHAPATNAM: I have been associated with apollo hospitals, visakhapatnam since 2016. As a consultant I had an opportunity to deal wit total hip replacements and total knee replacements and many complex trauma cases indiviually. SAI SANJEEVINI HOSPITAL:

Sai sanjeevini hospitals an NABH accredited hospital have been providing health services for people in need for the last 11 years. It is a 150 bedded multispecialty hospital specialised in orthopaedic, Neuro, Arthroplasty, Spine, Accident and Trauma care, Sports medicine. Department of orthopaedics is being spear headed by Dr.S.Anjaiah M.S (ortho) who is also director of the hospital has been in the medical field for the last 25 years. With different specialities as a polytrauma team we manage complex trauma cases giving good functional outcome to the patient .I had an opportunity to deal with multiple fracture cases individually .As a part of arthroplasty team I have been assisting TKR and THR regularly .On an average we do 15-17 arthroplasty cases in a month. I had an opportunity to deal with Hemiarthroplasty individually. As we encounter a very high volume of trauma cases there is ongoing research work on advantages of lateral positioning for surgical technique and accuracy in reduction during PFN procedures for unstable Intertrochanteric fractures.

Pondicherry institute of medical sciences(2013-2014june)- Assistant professor in department of orthopaedics, Pondicherry institute of medical sciences, Pondicherry. The Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences is a leading state-of-the-art Multi Speciality Hospital and Teaching Institute and a tertiary care centre for polytrauma and other surgical emergencies .I worked here as a faculty, department of orthopaedics where variety of orthopaedic complex trauma cases were managed individually. I am proud to be a part of organising team for Pelvi Acetabular fractures cadaveric workshop conducted by dept of orthopaedics PIMS. I worked in an arthroplasty sub speciality unit where in assisted up to 350 total knees and 120 Total HIP arthroplasty in that academic year. Hemiarthroplasty was regularly done.
