Answered the phones and took requests for patients and doctors for CDs/film/paper exams and printed off the reports. Later I transferred to QA where I edit the x-rays/MRIs/CT/special procedures on the Powerscribe system, I also use MDM, PACs systems. I also work on the failed fax list, I go into the MERGE system to see what reports didn’t go to the physicians and follow through on the fax numbers to see if they are correct or not, and if they have incorrect information I make a physician update form my lead to fix it in the system.
