• Communication:

- Being in leadership positions and working with others, I have learnt to respect and work hand in hand with other people. I find this to be an important skill to have, as being a team player enables the success of the company and the success of the team.

- Throughout undergraduate I have equipped myself with presentation skills and writing skills from presenting my photography projects and the discourses they stand for.

• Work Ethic:

- I am a very fast learner who is eager to gain more knowledge. My adaptability allows me to be flexible in any given situation or position. This helps me not to feel intimidated by any challenge or task that comes my way.

- Time management: A tool I regard essential and do not compromise in. It is one of my everyday mottos. As an ethic, I find it to be the difference between meeting deadlines and meeting deadlines with high quality of work.

• Leadership skills:

- Residence house Committee (2015): I was part of my residences’ house committee leadership as an entertainment and food representative. My role was to ensure a united social environment for my fellow house mates and ensuring any issues with regards to the dining hall food. As a committee we were responsible of making leadership decisions within the residence.

- Malawi Society Committee (2015-2017): Being part of the Rhodes University Malawi Society Committee, our aim was to unite Malawians on campus as a ‘home away from home’, but also to integrate with people 2

from different cultural backgrounds. This was to learn different cultures and different personalities. As the Vice- President of the society at the time, my role was to lead by example; plan activations/events and assign fellow committee members the specific portfolio tasks. My aim was to see our goal achieved and having satisfied members in the process.
