Determine suitable and automation methods
Lead PSI meetings for the shift, assign specific task to plant operators.
Monitors the activities of plant operation in the crushing, milling, carbon-in-leach, elution, CCD, Reagent and Tailings area to ensure their safety and achieve optimum productivity.
Conduct isolation for plant personnel i.e. plant operators electricians, mechanics and instrumentation technicians to perform their task safely.
Issue permits required for specific tasks in the processing area, perform and review job hazard analysis for the team to ensure safe execution of work.
Ensure samples are taken at the designated sample points and submitted to its appropriate destination.

Monitored the Gyratory crusher, MMD Sizer operation and other associated auxiliary equipment, such as hoist lube system, grease system, dust collector.
Conduct prestart checks, operational chesck of Apron feeders, conveyors system.
Conduct housekeeping of the Crusher area.
Use Citect SCADA to monitor and controlof the operations of the equipment in the Crusher area.
Communicate with field operators correct faults and ensure optimum operation of the crushing circuit.
Mill operator.
Operated and monitored the milling circuit to achieve the daily tonnage and, maximized the mill through put to achieve a fine grind of 85% passing microns.
Monitored and operated the mill cyclone feed pump, cyclones performance, Mill Lube system.
Milling/ Grinding Area
Operated and monitored the milling circuit to achieve the daily tonnage and, maximized the mill through put to achieve a fine grind of 80% passing 106 microns.

Carbon In Leach Area
Checked and monitored PH at the CIL, cyanide concentration and Cyanide analyzer, Densities, dissolved oxygen, carbon concentraion in CIL tanks.
Monitor CIL Equipment, such as agitators, intertank screens and established flow into the tanks under counter current carbon movement and enhance Gold recovery.
Monitor the thickener parameters such bed mass, rake torgue and bed bevel to ensure optimum density for leaching.
Elution Area
Operated the Anglo AMERICAN Research Laboratories (AARL) method of Elution circuit proficiently.
Perform Acid column recovery of carbon and conducted acid sequence.
Performed Eluate solution mixing and stripping of Loaded carbon and attained pregnant solution for Electrowing.
Monitored pressures, temperatures, flows on the Eluate to Gold room cells in a closed circuit to heat exchangers, elution column, strip solution tank and electrowinning cells.
Performed housekeeping for routine and unplanned shutdown.
Monitored the parameters of the regeneration kiln to achieve optimum performance.
Counter Current Decantation (CCD) Area.
Monitor the thickener parameters such bed mass, rake torgue and bed bevel to ensure optimum density and reagent recovery.
Performed regular circuit checks of the area.
Reagent Area.
Perform sodium cyanide offloading, sodium hydroxide mixing and hydrochloric acid preparation for use in the plant. Take and submit samples to the laboratory and compliance checks.
Monitor equipment in the area by performing preoperational and operational checks on them to ensure optimum performance.
Tailings Area.
Monitor tailings area parameters to avoid spillages, seepages, and ensure uniform discharges of tailings to the tailing dam to avoid channeling.
Take sample for weak acid dissociable cyanide (WAD) cyanide determination.
