Global Fund (GF) Malaria PR Grant: Insecticide Treated Nets (ITN) Mass Campaign Jigawa state, Nigeria.
Provided direct oversight and effective coordination of all mass campaign activities in the assigned LGA during the ITN mass campaign, providing regular feedback to the Campaign Implementation Team. Coordination and oversight:
Coordinated vendor activities in the LGA.
Provided operations and finance-related operational support in the LGA.
Supported the ITN campaign team in providing monitoring and supervision of campaign activities in the LGA.
Responsible for preliminary review and collation of documentation required for activities in the campaign states before they are forwarded to the CRS GF Malaria office in Abuja.
Provided real-time support and monitoring information on the use of android devices during household mobilization/ITN distribution activities.
Coordinated device and inventory management within the assigned LGA Description of Duties: Coordination and oversight.
Ensured LGAs are implementing the campaign following the National Operational Manual and CRS guidelines.
Supervised personnel recruitment, supported the LGA in advocacy to stakeholders, ensured pieces of training are carried out accordingly and supported the pieces of training as required, supported monitoring and supervision of all campaign activities, supported personnel data changes on the ICT4D platform (CAT Platform / Red Rose one platform), ensured review meetings are held, export LGA HH mobilization / ITN distribution coverage data from the ICT4D platform and discuss during the review meeting, to escalate issues that cannot be resolved at the LGA to the state campaign team for intervention and quick resolution.
Operations:
Collated the digital and paper attendance sheet and verified names on the attendance sheets. This entails line by line verification and conducted spot checks for paper attendance, and populated the information from the support documents in a required Microsoft excel template.
Verified the account details of campaign personnel using standard methodology. Responsible for preliminary onsite review of information/data in the field before documents are sent to the CRS GF Malaria office in Abuja. This is to ensure those discrepancies are detected early, reported and addressed immediately.
Collated other support documents that are necessary for payment (such as copies of waybills etc). Serve as the link between CRS and the LGA personnel. sent payment schedule to the Vector control unit, for further confirmation and revert to participants with issues that need follow-up.
Distributed campaign materials (training and implementation) for the respective LGAs and timely delivery to the LGA team. Liaised with food vendors for each LGAs to ensure timely delivery of the food, the right quantity based on the agreement with the vendor and reported issues with regards to the feeding if any to ICT4D. ICT4D:
Ensured effective compliance with the CAT strategy process and provided the required technical guidance to ward supervisors, household mobilizers / ITN distribution teams on the use of the android devices, solar chargers and the Red Rose application.
Ensured distribution (and subsequent retrieval) of ICT4D tools to identified cluster supervisors, household mobilizers / ITN distribution teams; and updated the inventory as necessary. Update device distribution inventory database upon retrieval of devices from cluster supervisors, household mobilizers / ITN distribution teams.
Ensured submission and signing of device security, safety and management document by cluster supervisors, household mobilizers / ITN distribution teams before collection of ICT4D tools and also provided and delivered buffer devices in a case of theft, loss or damage to ICT4D equipment assigned to campaign personnel for an activity. Ensured completion of device incidence report forms where necessary and provided real-time field evaluation report on the use of the devices to designated ICT4D focal supervisor.
Supported data retrieval and review at the facility and LGA and monitor their entry into a database. Follow ups with sites for missing data.
Supported all data quality improvement activities including data validation and Lot Quality Assurance survey.
Supported coordination of meetings to promote learning, feedback and adoption of best practices.
Keep track of availability and use of M&E tools at health facilities and LGA during SMC implementation.

Water Supply, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) in Schools in Jigawa State 01/2018 - 08/2021
(Cross-Sectional Survey).
This study aims to determine the association between variables that influence WASH in Schools. The objectives are to:
Investigate the quality of drinking water.
Assess WASH infrastructure.
Assess hygiene standards and Knowledge Attitude and Practice (KAP).
Evaluate key variables (population, class size and gender).
Analyse associations between variables such as student’s population, gender, class size against available WASH facilities.
Quantitative and Qualitative research methods were used for research data collection and data analysis.
