Conducted phone interviews of select sponsors to verify blood relation, current employment, financial situation, current housing situation and criminal background check. Referred children to mental health professionals as needed. When completed, submitted final report to the ORR Director recommending or denying sponsorship. The facility processed 7,000 migrant children and relocated them to their sponsor during my 6-month assignment.
