A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My name is Jordon Strange, and. I had majored in Criminal Justice and looking to enter law enforcement in the near future. I want to help and make a difference in my community and my state. I am a Member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the National Society of High School Scholars. I also have my bachelor’s degree in Criminal justice. I work well with others, am very dedicated to my work, and have a 3.0 GPA in High school and college.

EXPERIENCE

INDIANA STATE POLICE [INTERNSHIP]

2019–2020

I had the opportunity to complete an internship with the Indiana State police during my last year at Ivy Tech community college before obtaining an associate degree. It was a total of 150-hour internship and a great learning experience that expanded my knowledge in the field I'm passionate about.

Madison County Sheriff's department (paid internship)

I worked at the Madison County sheriff's department Jail division for three months. I worked as a correctional officer and excelled in all my training and was working the floors by myself within five weeks. It was a 400-hour paid internship. In the other part of the internship, I did a ride-along with the Madison County Sheriff Department Law Enforcement Division.
