Social Research Studies Done During the Past Employment:-
I. Baseline Survey: - Conducted baseline survey throughout Tamilnadu (TINIP –Tamilnadu integrated nutrition project) among mothers & children about their health &nutrition during Feb 1995 to July 1995. Conducted baseline Evaluation Study throughout Tamizhnadu (TINIP) among village leaders, VAO, Doctors, CNI, CNS, and NGO & Mothers during Sep 1995 to Nov 1995. Conducted U 2000 survey at Tirunelveli & Coimbatore District among child labors about female education I remote villages during Nov 1995 to Dec 1995.
II. NGO SURVEY:- Conducted NGO Survey at Madurai, Sivagangai, Tirunelveli & Kanyakumari districts among Mothers, new married couples and adult males about Condom usage and its Evaluation among NGO’s during Jan 1997 to Mar 1997.
III.Child Nutrition Survey:- Conducted Child nutrition Survey at Trichy & Trunelveli districts among Mothers (who are having 0 to 5 yrs children) about their Health & Nutrition showing Documentaries & Slides during Jan 1998 to Feb 1998.
IVChild Labors survey(work place):-This study was conducted for child labor board at Chennai,Trichy,Salem,Coimbatore and Tirupur.We have covered under the age group of 12 years old boys and girls during the period of 2003. Study conducted for UNICEF among street children:we have covered Chennai and Coimbatore centers during the period of 2000 march
V. Mystery Patient Study:- Conducted Mystery Patient Study at Chennai & Ranipet among Doctors Practicing in Highways pretending as a Truck driver who is having of sexually transmitted infections during April 1999.
VI. Behavior Change Impact Survey: - Conducted BCIS at Chennai & Tuticorin districts among Port – Class 111 & 1V Workers, Fishermen at Fishermen colony, General population (Adult men) at slum location. Conducted Sexual Behavior Study at Coimbatore, Salem, Tuticorin districts among Rack Pickers, Port formal and in formal workers, Mill workers, Engineering workers, Auto drivers, Taxi drivers and petty shop owners during May 2000 to June 2000 and personally moderated 25 focus group discussions among this target group.

I.TOT Training attended at Mumbai Conducted by TANSACS/USAID about HIV/AIDS for the target audience of slumdwellers, Truckers, Auto drivers, Fishermen community, Trantgenters, Sex workers, youth adolescent.

Random sampling – used by site information sheet and selecting the respondent through random number table, used by khish card method. Right hand rule and left hand rule method.
Mapping survey – Identifying sex encounter locations, identifying health issues, identifying condom selling shops. Identifying main location and bye location for intervention purpose.
Snowball Sampling – Identifying particular target group like STI patients, commercial sex workers, MSM, injectable Drug users.
Cluster Random Sampling – divide population into clusters and randomly select the clusters.
