I am an environmental specialist/systems analysis with 10 years of work experience in environmental and natural resources management accumulated in development finance banking, public and private sector, and multi-lateral agencies such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the World Bank, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), African Development Bank (AfDB), Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Austrian Development Corporation (ADC). I am passionate about environmental management and socio-economic development with a high degree of interest in system analysis for alternatives, sustainable business development models and designs that address socio-economic inequalities and promote environmental sustainability. My responsibilities included developing and operationalisation of environmental and social management policy/framework, and provision of technical leadership and support in the implementation of (ESMF) to the bank and its stakeholders over her investment portfolio of US$ 120 million per year through research, environmental due diligence and environmental risk appraisal to identify risk, measures to mitigate/enhance environmental & social risks/gains and enhance compliance with the Bank’s related policies, Uganda Environmental policies and environmental and social safeguards standards for its development partners: the World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Kuwait Grant, Agency for French Development (AFD), European Union (EU), African Development Bank (AfDB), Green Climate Fund (GCF), and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
