ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as operation engineer in CHP operation.

Good knowledge on Individual CHP equipment and their operation like Travelling Tripper, Ring Granulator, Belt feeder, Vibro feeder, Drum type Crusher, Magnetic Separator, Metal Detector, Conveyors and it auxiliaries of conveyor.

Handling Auxiliary systems like Coal Sampling Unit, Coal Dust Suppression System, Dust Extraction and Tunnel Ventilation System..

Operation knowledge of LDO/HFO oil firing

Unloading LDO/HFO oil and field observation and monitoring of unloading oil pumps, transfer oil pumps.

Responsible for LDO/HFO pump isolation and normalize process.

Responsible for proper inspection of various Boiler auxiliaries like Oil Guns, Economizer, ESP, APH, ID, FD&PA Fans, Coal Feeders.

Safe start- up, shut down of boiler and turbine from both hot and cold conditions including Emergency Handling and Co-ordination with Turbine Desk Operator For power generation schedules and to maintain export as per the schedule.

Proper start up and shutting down the plan without breakdown of the equipment’s.

Emergency Handle Like Black-out, Tube Leakage, Mill Tripping, Fan Tripping.

Totally involved in startup and shutdown activities in field activities of power plant operations in BoilerMonitoring equipment vibration, bearing temperature & maintaining the equipment condition.

Maintaining safety in plant premises to attain zero accidents.

Given local clearence for equipment status with proper SOP.

To take care of isolation procedure, issue of PTWs for safety of manpower and equipment during normal condition & shutdown condition of equipment.
