initiates appropriate document to management to have equipment removed from service.
Supervises the design, modification, adaptation and/or interfacing when item is not
commercially available and approved by proper upper management officials.
Prepares QIR's to identify and rectify unworkable procedures, policies or equipment.
Initiates electronic work orders for deficiencies found in the performance of duties.
Requests PM numbers for newly installed equipment, where maintenance is the responsibility of the incumbent, including equipment installed by contract.
Completes work orders in the time frames prescribed by Engineering Service
policy.
Coordinates projects, equipment repair and service with other
maintenance shops in Engineering Service. Prepares purchase requests for repair parts and service.

Position Scope and Responsibilities
