Thirty-two years in the field of construction Industry and out of this, six years of freelance involvement in the line of teaching on Civil engineering, Project Planning, Construction management, Business management and accounting subjects, in private Colleges.

World Class Diplomatic Residence Real-estate Development for American Embassy. The contract is FIDIC based Contract with Red Book admeasurement bases.

American standard Regional medical laboratory at Hawassa city, to be administered by American Contract Administration Division based standard condition and FAR for the client is Centre for Disease Control of USA.

Two basements three additional service floors and Fifteen Storey Hotel Complex construction (at Addis Ababa City). Contract based on Ethiopian PPA.

Regional Administration and Supreme High Court Complex building setup for Oromia region at Adama City. Contract based on Ethiopian PPA.

University Heavy Expansion Projects (Hawassa University) for modern Teaching and Learning Activities. Contract based on Ethiopian PPA.

Ethiopian Embassy Complex at Djibouti, a Buildings that need the present days’ “state of the art” finishing act. Contract based on Ethiopian PPA.

Large Cities, Jimma and Assella water supply schemes for the cities supply with heavy electro-mechanical works. Contract based on Ethiopian PPA.

My experiences are in almost all over the country except Tigray and Gambelia Regions and I spent a lot in both consultant and contractor firms which are well known in the country. I advise the consultant and the client and also supervising the construction process at Addis Ababa. Sidist Kilo Central area near Egypt Embassy.

August 2014 – May 2018 Firm: Yema Architecture, A Consulting office for Architectural Design, Project Management and Engineering solutions.

Project: 15 storey Hotel Project: (Minaye PLc Hotel Project). world class standard five star hotel accommodating two basements of 1400 m2 and 230 bed rooms.

Projects cost: 750 million birr .

My duty: Resident Project Manager for administering the contract and controlling the work quality of the project as a Resident engineer. I advise the consultant and the client and also supervising the construction process at Addis Ababa. Bole Road near Flamingo Restaurant..

May 2011-now July 2014 Firm: Zias Design. Architecture + Engineering consulting firm).

(Seven years) Major Works: Oromiya Supreme court complex at Nazreth town and Hawassa University expansion projects for Auditorium, Office, Dormitory, and Student cafeteria and class rooms complex.

Duty: From Resident Supervisor, resident Engineer and Contract administrator.

Oromiya Supreme Court House Complex: 50,000,000.br.

Hawassa University expansion projects: Three hundred million birr. 300,000,000 birr.

2003 -March 2004 Firm: Majecon Construction “Assosa” Agricultural and Technical

(One & half years) college project. .

Major Works: Construction of Dormitories, Auditorium and cafeteria, Classrooms, Office buildings and internal roads.

2000 – 2002 Firm: Simeneh Kelel Consulting Architects, Engineers & Planners.

(Three years time) Major Works: Regional soil laboratories at three different regions of the country and Store complex project at Woreta town for Disaster prevention and preparedness commission.the laboratories were new for the country and they were at Assosa,Gondar and Awash Melkasa.The Store complex were eight floors each two thousand square meter with 12,00 sq.mt asphalt pavement.

1999(One and half year) Firm: Satcon Construction.Ethiopian Embassy complex project at Djibouti.

1995 – 1998 (Four years time) Firm: Building Design Enterprise. Consulting Architects and engineers.(Government consulting firm.).

Major Works: Teachers training College, Nursing College, Health Centers and Village Schools. All in Somali Region at jijiga Town and surroundings.

Duty: From Resident Supervisor and resident Engineer level to Contract administration worker.

1994 (One and half year) Firm: Berta Construction “Shinele” Food security store complex project. .

Major Works: Construction of six stores each with two thousand one hundred square meter area coverages and internal asphalt road and parking of eight thousand square meter for loading and unloading purposes.

1989 – 1993 (Five years’ time) Firm: Ethiopian water works construction authority Jimma and Assella Towns water supply projects.

Major Works: Concrete reservoirs, Water treatment plants, Weir intake structures, Chemical Buildings, River Bridge, Office buildings and more than 55 km. Pipe lines with water points.
