1.Presently (from July16) working as General Manager (Plant Operations) with M/S Parle International (Unit of Parle Agro Pvt. Ltd.) at Patalganga, Mumbai.

The M/S Parle International (Unit of Parle Agro Pvt. Ltd.) is one of the Indian Major in the field of fruit juices and beverages.

The current profile is as follows.

Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the Parle Agro Pvt Ltd. Patalganga Unit.

Responsible for incoming raw material / packaging material and finished product quality as per the standards laid down by company. Review product quality and consistency while monitoring rejection rates to determine trends and areas of improvement.

Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to ensure planned inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible.

Monitor operation expenses and workout ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.

Responsible for the Environmental, Health and Safety of the company to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees.

Maintain Inventory levels and control flow of product from plant.

Preparation of budget for the unit and ensuring the costs are within the budget.

Closely monitoring the Opex and controlling the opex.

Audit compliances (statutory, Internal& external, food safety, vendors etc.).

Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operations employees.

Encourage and promote operating team for the continuous improvement.

Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all goals.

Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.

Work closely with research and development as well as product management personnel to develop new products.

Work closely with Central purchase team to develop and improve packing material quality, raw material quality and supplies.

Implementation of all system such as ISO, HACCP, FSMS, EMS, PAiMS, as per guideline laid by company.

Monitoring of corrective and preventive maintenance schedule of plant along with maintenance team.

Monitoring of non moving spares and other store items for effective control and to avoid write off.

Coordination with marketing team for product feedback, improvements and complaints if any.

Coordinate the hiring and training of all manufacturing/plant personnel.

Maintain security system of the plant with HR team.

Additional Responsibilities

Coordination and liaise various statutory agencies e.g. Health Authority, Factory Inspector, FSSAI, EIA, PCB, etc.

Established the Greenfield project into operation in 1 year time and launched the products mentioned below.
