DOB: 03/27/1964

I am a friendly, outgoing, dedicated and loyal individual who has the ambition to succeed in any given position. I am a fast learner and am able to work in a team or solo environment. I am sure that with a position in your corporation, you and I can excel and prosper. WORK EXPERIENCE

I have been in the moving/warehousing industry for more than 30 years. 1980 - 1999: I worked for Murry Van and Storage/Ferguson Transportation North American Van Lines in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where I started at 16 years old sweeping the warehouse floors. The Warehouse Manager asked me help check in a household goods shipment, catalog and store it in a vault. This is where my furniture handling career began. I also worked for a contractor inventorying and hauling household shipments. Liss Transportation Bekins Van Lines bought out Ferguson and was put in the warehouse to manage it. While at Liss, Mr. Liss purchased a 100,000 square foot warehouse there I learned how to manage a team of employees as well as controlling the warehouse cataloging incoming materials, furniture and logging the location, shelves and vaults. After Liss Transportation folded, in 1999, I worked for Mica Products of Boca Raton, United Wholesale,Dream House Furniture, and for a short period of time I worked for Beltman North American Van Lines. In 2000 – December, 2010, I went to work for Mr. Jim Brown at, All Moving Services Atlas Van Lines. At All Moving Services I held the positions of dispatcher, warehouse manager, forklift operator. I was responsible for receiving, pulling and checking and loading hotel furniture. I also was point man for our prime account AT&T. I was responsible for the loading and unloading of new batteries, materials. Along with delivery and decommission of expired/damaged batteries and radio equipment.

I was also in charge of the condition of the warehouse: keeping it neat and orderly, making sure all goods were cataloged and inventoried. I left All Moving Services in December 2010 due to a decline in work.

During that period between 2000 and 2010, I also worked for AAA Gold Coast, Allied Van Lines, Fort Lauderdale Florida, handling the removal of furniture and replacement of new furniture for various hotels in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, area. I also handled the warehouse for AAA Gold Coast. I went where the work was at the time. NOTE: All agency companies listed above, with the exception of All Moving Services, are no longer in business.

In December, 2010, Pompanette Bout Works offered me a job so I moved to Clearwater/Tampa, Florida to work for Pompanette and to take care of my Mother. December, 2010 June 2011: I worked for Pompanette/American Marine in Tampa, FL. I did various jobs including plastic molding for boat hatches, chairs and windows, grinding, buffing, packing and shipping, among various other duties. In June of 2011, I was laid off when there was a major decline in product orders. November, 2011 May, 2012: I worked for Thomas Sign and Awning. There I did heat form molding plastic signs for various companies, Pet Supermarket, Publix, Pollo Tropical, etc. I left the company due to a personality conflict with a co-worker. Also worked for a contractor with Suddath Relocations, Clearwater, Florida, for a few months loading and unloading household goods.

I also was a worker for Reliable Movers, Clearwater, Florida, loading and unloading household goods. Then I worked part time there to take care of my Mother. Mom got better. So I went back on the road for All Moving Services and my very good friend Jim Brown decommissioning and picking up old equipment and batteries for about the last four years. I recently left All Moving to be closer to Mom and work closer to home. I’m sure I will be an asset to your company.

Sincerely,

Donald D Kendall
