As a customer service representative under the Employer Group Retirement group, I assisted customers with making payments on their healthcare plans and prescription drug plans. I did research when the customer stated their plan did not pay as they believed it should, to find out the reason for the non-payment. If a customer wanted to change prescription drug plans, I would assist them with deciding which plan would work best for them by going over their medications that are currently being taken with the available plans. If a medication was not covered by a customer’s plan, I would file a request to get the medication covered with the pharmacy department.

I started out as data processing manager, maintaining main frame system backups, processing payroll, hardware entry, lock detail entry, setting up personal computers for users, and training users on the software. I transferred to the engineering department in 1999 as the detention engineer manager, where duties included creating shop drawings, decoding hardware, door and frame layout and communication with customers.
