As a customer service representative under the Employer Group Retirement group, I assisted customers with making payments on their healthcare plans and prescription drug plans. I did research when the customer stated their plan did not pay as they believed it should, to find out the reason for the non-payment. If a customer wanted to change prescription drug plans, I would assist them with deciding which plan would work best for them by going over their medications that are currently being taken with the available plans. If a medication was not covered by a customer’s plan, I would file a request to get the medication covered with the pharmacy department.

As an analyst, I have worked on troubleshooting modeling issues, provided support to nine civil engineering programs, done testing and debugging of user issues; replicated the user’s environment; done trouble shooting of licensing issues that are specific to hydraulics and hydrology applications; generated licensing keys, created wikis and posted responses to forums.
I took part on the Support Solutions Education team under the direction of Kristen Dietrich. I updated the word document for the changes on the auto-solution builder. I was a member of the power user group representing the team I was on. I also participated in the User Acceptance Testing for the Solutions Efficiency Project.

I started out as data processing manager, maintaining main frame system backups, processing payroll, hardware entry, lock detail entry, setting up personal computers for users, and training users on the software. I assisted in writing accounting programs and training accounting personnel in utilizing these programs. I transferred to the engineering department in 1999 as the detention engineer manager, where duties included creating shop drawings, decoding hardware, door and frame layout and communication with customers.

As administrative assistant, my duties included typing contracts, accounts receivable and payable, answering the telephone, handling the mail, and typing specifications and addenda for projects. The software used for these duties were Synthesis, Dbase IV, AutoCAD, Professional Write, Lotus 1-2-3, Word Perfect and Microsoft Word.

As a receptionist, my duties included answering the telephone, typing letters, bids and shipping papers. I was transferred to the data processing department in January, 1979 and became data processing supervisor in 1981. My responsibilities included computer system backups and maintenance, entering production from the engineering department, processing payroll, training new employees in data entry, steel inventory, hardware entry, lock detail entry, word processing, time card entry, and graphic design. I also assisted in software installation of a Digital VAX/VMX system. I have experience in door and frame layout.
