• With the permission of Seneca College, I scanned the IFS lab network using NMAP to search for Open ports on the IFS Lab network and scanned three exploitable open ports on Nessus to generate a report with possible vulnerabilities

• My findings had shown that there was 12+ critical vulnerabilities on the three chosen hosts which could be exploited

• I had patched a blind shell backdoor detection by verifying if only authorized users were listening on the port and then reinstalling and reconfiguring the system
