Saudi Binladin Group ABCD, Jeddah - Saudi Arabia, April 2015 to Present King Abdulaziz International Airport Development Project – Jeddah DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the Company's Document Control team to ensure all work is undertaken within expected timeframes.
Develop and update the document control procedures and guidelines to ensure correct, consistent and standardized processes are used within the Document Control team.
Assure that the Information Management Consultant is aware of any document management issues and achievements by providing accurate update during regular meetings.
Held bi-weekly DC Issues meeting with the Consultant and Subcontractors to finalize the outstanding documents, such as discussing the pending issues, open issue, under review, action issues, and submittals delay no. of days.
Identify training needs and provide training to Document Control team in order improve documentation process.
Provide training and guidance for both the Company's and Contractors' document control centers in order to capture correct data within agreed timeframes.
Ensure adherence to the Company's Information Management Policy, and Document Control Standard / Procedures.
Receives, tracks, and monitors documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases, and produces logs, transmittals, and other reports as required.
Responsible for all As Built Drawings & GIS Submittals Submission to the Consultant (Dar Al-Handasah).
Preparing all transmittals and submittals on Primavera Software (PCM), like: Design Drawings, Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings, GIS, Request for inspection of work, Material Inspection Request, and etc. for Consultant approval.
Review the transmittals internal status before sending to Consultant.
Arrangement of maintained official records with systematic order.
Receiving of all incoming Correspondence / Documents from Consultant and all other Sub-contractors.
Developing and implementing processes related to document control and management, checking quality of documents and monitoring processes.
Responsible for all controlling documentations, drawings and overall filling system of the project as per company standard.
Responsible for identifying and resolving routine problems and handling other tasks.
Worked on Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook on daily basis at a proficient level.
