Assists in the management of a Security Forces Flight for the installation with military, dependent, DoD civilian, and contractor populations and protection level resources.

Recommends to supervisor minor disciplinary measures through progressive discipline and reserves serious unresolved issues to higher level management.
Directs and supervises the dispatch of operation activities involving security force patrols to crime scenes, accidents, natural disasters, and apprehensions.
Acts as the on scene incident commander for significant and catastrophic events and required and initiates Air Force Incident management System (AFIMS) as needed.
Performs traffic duty, to include operation detection devices, directing traffic, escorting dignitaries, and conducting sobriety tests.
Ensures accurate completion of required paperwork, forms, and reports.
Responsible for conducting day to day law enforcement and police functions for a joint base environment totaling 5,000 personnel and strategic assets.
Entry controller for installation personnel and vehicle traffic specifically, conducting electronic identification system operations and processing commercial vehicles as well as visitor entry operations.
Processes civilian and military law offenders utilizing Air Force reporting systems as well as LiveScan fingerprinting/photograph devices.
Primary Base Defense Operations Center Controller/Desk Sergeant responsible for dispatch and Command and Control of multiple patrols and installation entry control point
Directs and conducts Random Anti-Terrorism Measures and document findings in a Daily Police Blotter.
Conducts preliminary investigations and interviews with suspects of general crimes committed on Defense Department property.
Conducts traffic and parking enforcement and cites offenders pursuant to applicable United States Code.
Arresst and/or detains perpetrators of general crimes and assists special investigations units with crime scene security and traffic control during major crimes.
Reviews, corrects and routes daily security and police documentation ensuring 100% correctness of all paperwork within a 72 hour turn around period.
Trained new employees on proper utilization of law enforcement reporting systems and Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) reducing errors in reporting and time card completion.
Trains both military and civilian members on ATAAPS and acts as timekeeper updating civilian time cards and ensuring completeness of employee schedules.
