In the Royal Conservatory of Music program, I prepare students for examinations. I prepare them in the areas of technique, repertoire, rudiments, theory, ear training, performance, and history. I teach students who have won gold medals with highest honors in the Eastern Canada Examination Competition for five consecutive years. For this, I have been awarded each year the Teachers Gold Medal.

In the ensembles I work with I am responsible for directing, writing and arranging, running rehearsals, musician cues, setting tempi etc. I have developed very strong and effective communication skills in these areas and am very confident and assertive in this role. Additionally, I teach musicians working in ensembles the parameters of genres, musical forms, advanced rhythms, ornamentation, etc. In short, I have lots of experience teaching and directing both students in the class/studio as well as professional musicians and ensembles. I am a very positive person with a very strong work ethic and great organizational skills. I am reliable, accountable, love to take on challenges and responsibilities, and work very efficiently and effectively as an independent as well as in social environments. I have had the pleasure to share my original works at the Atlantic Jazz Festival Halifax, for twelve consecutive years. I give public presentations, talks and concerts every year with the Flamenco Festival Atlantic and have performed regularly at the Open Waters Festival. Some other performance venues where I share/shared my works include the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium, Neptune Studio, Sir James Dunn, Chester Playhouse, Annapolis Royal Theatre, Ross Creek Center for the Arts, Capitol Theatre N.B, Harbour front Theatre PEI, Royal Theatre Victoria B.C, Winspear Centre Edmonton, Museum of Civilizations Theatre Ottawa.
