Quality Engineer: Inspection metallurgy evaluation
•Daily evaluation of all taken in-process measurements, including atmosphere, and temperatures of melting furnaces, oil cooling temperatures, and flow rates.
•Chemistry analysis, using Atomic Absorption rate, and Spectral testing used to modify alloy chemistry to meet customer requirements on pre-poured bearing alloy.
•Audit evaluation of each steel coil before production, and verification of each annealing control plan, and developed final inspection requirement for each pallet of material produced.
