MODIFICATIONS OFFICER - AIRFRAMES (AIR ZIMBABWE PVT LTD) MARCH 2004 TO December 2005.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Computing weight and balance changes for Boeing 737-200,Boeing 767-200,MA60 and BAe146 seating configurations and modifications that affect the weight and balance of the Aircraft, as required.
Making amendments to manufacturers publications because of engineering order action.
Initiating investigations/research and present data relating to modifications/inspections and other engineering changes for consideration by modifications committee.
Issuing and amending engineering orders.
Soliciting advice, information and suggestions from workshops, maintenance, materials planning, reliability and flight operations personnel as well as manufacturers with regard to modifications implementation, manpower capability, and severity of the problems and availability of materials.
Keep conversant with aviation (Air Navigation Regulations) and company procedures as they affect activities.
Ensuring quality and accuracy of all work done.
Production Planner : Production Planning and Technical Records/Library (Falcon Air) D.D.F. Aircraft Section January 2003 to February 2004.
Experience:
Compiling work packages for all work to be done on aircraft i.e. Cessna Series, Beech-craft Series, Islander Britten and Norman, PT6 Series Engines, Lycoming and Continental Piston Engines.
Preparing paperwork for Certificate of Airworthiness renewal/issue/air-test, certificate of registration, reweighs, and change of category public/private/cargo/passenger and change of ownership i.a.w. Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe Regulations.
Preparing logbook entries for all work done on the aircraft.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Technical Library/Records and production planning.
Schedules aircraft inspections and structural overhauls in accordance with
the maintenance schedules and component life index.
Ensures life control of aircraft hard time and on condition units.
Schedule engineering changes in accordance with Engineering order forms.
Prepare and provide all paperwork and related documentation to work sections.
Prepare a detailed plan for hangar checks and makes sure spares are in stock for planned tasks.
Estimates turnaround times for tasks and scheduled work in accordance
the plan.
Monitor progress of the plan and reschedules tasks accordingly.
Provides feedback on a daily basis on the progress of major checks.
Reports deviations and suggest corrective action on the maintenance program.

Contributed in setting up of the Approved Maintenance Repair Organisation Station and Technical Library/Records and Production Planning Department for Executive Air and Falcon Air in 1997 and 1998 respectively as per C.A.R.145 of Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe.
Contributed to the write up of the Maintenance Organization Exposition Manual and Inspection Procedures Manual for Executive Air and Falcon Air in 1997 and 1998 respectively as per C.A.R.145 of Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe.
I am currently involved in the computerization of the Production Planning and Technical records section from July 2017 to date using Alkym –Management and control system for Aircraft Maintenance. (Planning, Maintenance Control and Engineering) under the supervision of Seabury Solutions –Projects Manager .
