Being people-oriented and goal driven, this position would be the best opportunity for me to perform and excel in my career. In addition to acquiring new skills & developing my knowledge in I/O Psychology the main objective is to gain working experience in I/O Psychology and HR Management to facilitate the transformation of businesses and peoples’ work experiences. The ability to critically assess situations and devise approaches to handle challenges is intertwined with my purpose of improving the quality of life of people around me. Exposure to different environments throughout life has further equipped me with the necessary tools to adapt and tackle challenges set before me in any task I take on. Furthermore, travelling and being exposed to the opportunities that exist around the world, has set my sights on a revolutionary transformation within Namibian organizations across all sectors.
Completing three majors has provided me with the opportunity to achieve my goals and objectives through different avenues. Working as an HR intern at the Bel Esprit Hospital has given me practical working experience dealing with ad-hoc administrative tasks and specialized tasks such as: My passion for outreach sparked through the creativity, action and service
(CAS) program offered through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Majority of my CAS hours were earned in providing and giving back to the community which helped me acquire sensitivity and empathy evoking a passion for social justice grounded in policy development, organizational management, psychology and outreach initiatives. Assuming a leadership role in the Namibian Society (NAMSOC) at the University of Cape Town required high levels of organization, planning of events in collaboration with other individuals and organizations. This work has transcended into personal endeavours concentrating on human rights activism.
