Managed initial phone/CS support for newly introduced medical product, handling customer questions, tech support, and advising with marketing team to bring sales to 6 digits in 6 months.
Software Implementation:
Worked on the conversion team providing feedback and working to upgrade and tweak the SAP system when our multinational, multi-million-dollar rubber compounding company upgraded to a new proprietary version of SAP. The new system showed clear savings and efficiency benefits in the first two years that more than offset the $2M cost of the upgrade. Was heavily shoulder-tapped by people from all departments of this company afterwards to provide advice and help them use the new system.
Developed a training manual with step-by-step screenshots to train employees of a medical system when they switched from “paper records” to EMR (electronic medical records).
Inventory Management:
Worked on a small team to provide inventory control, analysis, and LEAN inventory initiative for billions of dollars of medical physical inventory. Improved accuracy of tracked inventory and expedited order fulfillment while cutting cost of on-hand inventory for clear 5-digit savings.
Managed identification, control, and return of defective/non-FDA standard inventory to vendors for replacement; identified impact of such for Finance team.
Managed $1/2M of outbound shipping for a project mgmt/sign installation company and, by improving processes and procedures, cut costs for the same volume of shipping by in six months, demonstrating a $250k savings to the company.
Accounting:
Consulting with a property management business, tracked and streamlined $7-digits yearly of rent payments for hundreds of property owners through the PropertyWare software system and Quickbooks; streamlined operations of such and increased efficiency to keep accurate bookkeeping and ensure payments were timely and late fees collected.
Worked on a small finance team for a multi-million-dollar medical startup gaining FDA approval, especially tracking expenses pertinent to the Sunshine Act and documenting them for presentation to the FDA; communicated heavily with field employees while working directly for the company CFO and CEO.
