KAIZEN PROJECTS

1.REDUCING THE BOTTLE NECK AND CONTROL OVER WIP

Have done a simplified kaizen project in Grinding department, changed the Conventional grinding

belt cost Rs 2000 per belt to newly Modified grinding belt which cost Rs 100 per belt.

Fabricated a new Grinding machine for the grinding process and in terms improved the quality of

the component, reduced the bottle neck and effectively increased the production from 250 no's

components per shift to 550 no's per shift.

Eliminated the Hazardous Electro-Polishing process and saved the components getting rusted

after this process and eliminated the wait time.

2. LEAN MANUFACTURING FOR CONTINOUS FLOW

By studying the process Cycle time in work flow and combined the two or more process which

having lesser cycle compared to other process.

Avoided the Unnecessary process, Controlled the man movement by seating in continuous

manner, This project Reduced the Man, material, machine waiting time and reduced the Wastages

of Work in process.
