As was visible in the Prime Ministerial elections held in 2014. The political speech and performance in the cyberspace and generating opinions and cartoons and fan pages that possibly effected the popularity of participants in the elections.

News: Changing in a Flash! Author: Anushi Chaturvedi This study is an effort to tease apart the complexities of 24x7 news coverage, tabloidization of news and understanding broadcast news as a commercial enterprise, using examples from recent coverage of events in cricket, cinema, crime and comedy. This work highlights how the constant fight of TRPs has led news channels to give viewers what they ‘want’ and not what they ‘need’. (Published in 2014)
