VDH is committed to improving the accessibility of public health information to all residents. The Spanish writer/translator supports these efforts by providing Spanish versions of guidance documents, web content, and other media for public distribution.

Communicates in a professional and empathic manner, assuring them of the confidentiality of the information collected and explaining how the information will be utilized. Alerts Epidemiologists if the case is associated with other high-risk settings that require additional public health investigation or intervention. Following established procedures, provide the ill individual with resources available for further information or support as needed.

•Data Entry & Maintenance. Utilizes established database(s) to identify newly diagnosed patients. Inputs data collected into the database and assures the database is kept up to date. Provides data from Case Investigation to Epidemiologists and/or Health Educators as necessary. Generates reports
