At- Edgewater Qatar For KAHRAMAA Project (GTC 938/2019 Site investigation of water customer complaint and pipeline emergency cases & reporting )

Location: DOHA, Qatar

Job Role : Water balance and leak detection inspector

Job Description:

Report on all invisible and visible leaks found and coordinate with the maintenance section to repair all visible and invisible leaks found within the period stipulated by the engineer or supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Report on the findings concerning unmetered customers, faulty meters, and illegal connections in the customers database and liaise with the relevant section for updating and replacement.

Liaise with the laboratory section to take water samples to check on the water quality.

Submit monthly report on key performance indicator in terms of the number of meters read, number of logger deployed and retrieved, and number of visible and invisible leaks found and repaired per month, and volume of water saved.

Handle emergency leak complaints to find leaks and follow till issue resolved.

take readings of the meters in the selected DMAS and prepare the meter readings on an excel sheet for water balance purpose and install/retrieve noise loggers for the leak detection campaign followed by pinpointing of leaks.

Job Description:

Responsible for obtaining data pertaining to distance, angles, elevations, points, and contours used for main laying by using Total Station, GPS, Digital plane table,

Theodolite, electronic distance measuring equipment, and other surveying instruments. Process and Upload collected survey data into KAHRAMAA’s GIS Database.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Undertakes field surveys for new/ replacement/ maintenance works to identify and record location of KAHRAMAA assets (Water & Electricity) and other underground/ surface Features.

Coordinates with Projects Engineer/ Consultants to survey KAHRAMAA projects.

Compiles notes, reports, sketches, and records of data obtained and work Performed.

Transfer and Convert Surveyed information and prepare As-Built Drawings.

Directs work of subordinate members of survey team.

Performs other duties relating to surveying work as directed by Head – GIS Section.

Maintains the survey equipment and records its condition.

Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
