I have worked many years in Internal Medicine along with Pediatrics though a Community Health Center, ENT, OB-GYN, and Cardiology

Experience:

My job consisted of: Prepare charts and obtain updated screening tests, notes from other providers, rooming patients, vitals, EKG, A1c, urinalysis, strep-tests, pregnancy testing, drug screening both urine and oral testing, immunizations, allergy injections, medication injections such as B 12, Prolia, Vivitrol etc.., ear lavage, wound care, PFT’s, nebulizer treatments, sterilize equipment, triage calls, process referrals and authorizations for procedures and medications, schedule infusions/blood transfusions. I instructed VN and patients regarding there PT/INR’s and kept INR logs, overseeing the Medical Assistants, teaching new students from surrounding schools, scheduling of the MA’s, keeping track of the CLIA logs and staying OSHA compliant with hazardous waste, refrigerator temps, ordering medical supplies.

I also ran the 100 Plus Program. This was a home monitoring program for Medicare patients. BP, Glucose, Weight, Oximeters. I helped with Stellar Health Program which includes making sure patient have yearly check-ups, monitor lab work, and screening tests.
