BTECH PROJECT

PROFILE

Title: BIODIESEL PRODUCTION FROM WASTE COOKING OIL Developed a process for the pretreatment of used cooking oil and carried out a Trans Esterification process for the conversion of waste cooking oil to Biodiesel. A comparative study of the obtained biodiesel with standard biodiesel was conducted. Results prove that the obtained biodiesel has close characterization to the standard biodiesel.

MTECH THESIS Title: GENOTYPING OF HBV AND ITS CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE 45 HBV positive samples were collected with different viral load which were quantitatively analysed by the Real Time PCR. The genotypes are identified based on the base pair in Gel Electrophoresis and Sequencing results. According to the results, Genotype D is the most prevailing genotype in south kerala. In the future, genotyping will be useful for the clinical implications of HBV and for the production of personalized medicines. PERSONAL
