Currently working as a Lead Project Coordination Analyst in portfolio wide deployment management team using IBM Tivoli Monitoring products monitor the performance and availability of distributed operating systems and applications. Manage a team of technical staff in the development of automated installation & deployments tools. These are used as a centralized template to deploy new releases and system hardware refreshes at automated facilities as well as at the domestics US package sorting facilities. The team provides support during the upgrades to ensure they are installed an operational in the given time windows. Assisting with troubleshooting issues that needed application development team involvement. Acting as the centralized deployment team for a single point of contact during new implementations and upgrades.

Also worked as Sr.QA Analyst in the OPSV (Operation Portfolio System Verification) group doing End to End testing.

Designed and developed test cases for Disaster Recovery and AMS/FDC (Address Management Group and Flexible Data Capture) project which validates, verifies the addresses on the packages that the customers send it for delivery, and it also serves for excellent facility for searching addresses in the United States.

The application enables the customers to enter their package information using their own PC and keep track of their packages on day-to-day basis.

Executed test procedures tracked the status of test cases to complete several Phases of testing. Support PPM with there UAT testing. Also created trouble tickets to keep track of all the failures and reports for managers showing test metrics.

Worked on a strategic project involving NASDAQ. NASDAQ is leading financial organization in the world. This application let Stockbrokers to trade NASDAQ stocks.

Tested two applications:

1) The first application is web based and is called Basket Management System.

2) The second application is called Barracuda.

Basket Management:

NDB Clients can use the Web-based order entry system

To enter single orders or baskets of orders into NDB Capital Market's trading System for execution.

The application is used in addition to or in lieu of message based order flow lines, which have been typically used to send Orders. Not all clients are

Permitted to enter basket orders. Additionally, Order types and parameters were dependent on your client agreement with NDB Capital Markets.

Environment: Windows NT, Visual Basic 6.0, C++, Oracle 8i, SQL*Plus.

Responsibilities:

Developed SQL queries for the Data Transaction and verification.

Developed test scripts for Decimalization, Functional and Regression Testing.

Executed Test cases for Basket and recorded and created reports on the results.

The Barracuda is workstation presentation software that provides interface for interacting with NASDAQ trading environment and gives the NDB Capital markets traders the ability to perform.

Worked as a QA Analyst on a Safety System application designed and developed to maintain safety reports from clinical trials and marketed drugs in the same database over the lifetime of a product. Being the application a third-party product, the main thrust of the project was to conduct a core testing and qualify the application from Operational, Performance, and Installation point of view thoroughly before the purchase.

Compliance to FDA Regulations and fulfillment of Clinical Trial Safety System user need is the main objective of the application. GDSS (Global Data Safety System) is maintained through three Legacy systems: Saves, Sayers, and Oskar. Data migrated from the legacy system to the client server and thereafter tested and Validated (IQ, OQ, PQ), for proper data structure and functionality of the system.

Windows NT, Power Builder 6.0, Oracle 8i, SQL*Plus.

Y2K Project:

The objective of this project is to convert all the application to make them year 2000 compliance. The application primarily tracks the flow of Data from manufacturer to the consumer via the wholesaler and the retailer. The application also provides various valuable information’s through variety of reports, products and services. The Operation system was Windows NT, Windows 3.1, and UNIX.

Responsibilities:

Identifying the active elements and the necessary inputs needed for the year 2000 conversion.

Analyzing and identifying the segments of test where there is year 2000 impact.

Testing the changed code and generate reports using crucial Y2K dates. The various stages involved in testing were production run, current run, span run and future run.

Data integration testing in Oracle tables interfaced with Power Builder.

Write test cases and retest modified application.

June 97- Nov 97 (Linguistix Inc.) VA

Worked as a System Test Engineer at Linguistix Inc in their Corporate Service Department. This product is on-line product designed for Translating English to different European languages, using HTML. Product developed in Visual Basic using C++.

This application had many problems. Listed below are a few: functionality, resource usage, crashing of the database, GPF’s data validation, user interface consistency and some application logic. These problems were discussed with the programming team.

Responsibilities:

System testing, Data testing, Stress testing, Data mapping.

Setup automated test environment using SQA Robot.

Developed and maintained test scripts and test cases based on system flow by using positive, negative and regression testing scenarios.

Performed Regression Test to assure that new problem has not been created as a result of fixing.

Used in-house Excel worksheets to list down the problems (Errors/bugs/fixes).

June 96- May 97 (L.G.Software), NJ

Payroll System

The Software was used to keep attendance, late coming, leave entries, gate pass entries, tour entries, overtime entries and calculate monthly salary. Daily attendance inputs were taken from an electronic time recording machine that could be modified, if the need arose, after giving authorization password. The Software generated monthly salary after processing the related earnings and deductions. Annual Income Tax calculation sheet for each employee was also provided in the Software. Some of the Outputs of the Software were: Salary Slip, Monthly/Yearly Salary Register, PF/ESI forms and registers of all the employees, Attendance/Leave/Late coming reports etc. The Project environment was Oracle Database with Developer 2000 as Front end. The Operation system was Windows NT.

Responsibilities:

Conducted GUI testing, System testing and Regression testing of the Client/Server application.

Completed SQA & Winrunner testing training.
