Work History

UCR Payroll Coordinator: 5/13/13 - 10/13/2020

Intermountain Health Care Corporation

I currently provide payroll support in different aspects for employees and Human Resource Consultants at the

hospitals Alta View, Central Lab, LDS and several departments within IMC. I am responsible for making the

necessary adjustments in Oracle regarding LOA corrections for those employees out on a FMLA LOA, Non-FMLA

LOA and Intermittent LOA’s at the request of the LOA Specialist. I train those employees that are utilized as new

Time Keepers with Kronos training which includes how to access Kronos, and inform them how to enter appropriate

data as well as the usage of proper pay codes. I am responsible for processing retros for correction when employees

have either been paid incorrectly or when adjustments are needed for their current status, such as retro pay due to

salary increases or decreases. I process Off-Cycle payments or Quick Pays also on a daily basis for corrections that

are necessary to an employee’s pay.

I am well educated on company policies and pay practices within the region. I have strong people skills and the ability

to work as a team player in adverse conditions.

Scheduling/Timekeeper Coordinator (STC): 11/2011 - 5/10/13

I transitioned into this position with the implementation of a new workforce scheduling software system (Kronos).

I am one of the original members who introduced this system for use to managers, and employees. I helped train

employees, and encouraged them on its use. I facilitate this system in automating paychecks for employees, as well as

scheduling workloads, time off, and tracking costs. I also use this system as a management tool to provide

information for managers to track and measure budgets and performance. I've gained a strong knowledge of this

system, and work closely with Unit Managers to provide information and resolve issues on their behalf.

I serviced IMC and LDS Hospital's Operating Rooms providing support with not only scheduling issues of employees,

but also providing bi-weekly payroll entry for approximately 260 employees, and reviewed timecards for accuracy

before submitting the finalization of payroll for a two week pay period.

Office Coordinator: 7/1979 - 11/2011

Intermountain Health Care Corporation

I provided payroll support at LDS Hospital for all Surgical Services Managers and their employees, including the

Operating Room, PACU, Short Stay, Endoscopy, Central Processing, and Avenues Surgical Center. Tasks included

bi-weekly payroll entry which included called off hours, PTO, extended shifts, call back premium, and education. I

viewed timecards for accuracy before submitting finalization of payroll for a two week pay period, and prepared

customized spreadsheets and budget reports for the Operating Room Manager.

I developed strong skills to multi-task and prioritize issues, and worked closely with employees to resolve questions

and concerns.

I have been employed with IHC for 35 plus years, and in this time have learned the payroll process from entering

payroll data on computer paper to using AS-400, and several other software programs before the system currently

being utilized.
