Duties and Responsibilities:

Retains and upkeep calendar and appointment schedule for the chairperson. Generates and maintains an accounting system for efficient reconciliation and retrieval of budgetary information. Processes budget transactions using self-service and reporting services. Prepares bi-weekly employee time and attendance forms and inputs reported hours in Banner. Keep track of sign-off dates for payroll according to the Office of Human Resources. Trains and assists student employees with keeping correct time records. Prepares employment forms for student and faculty positions, some of a confidential nature. Provides administrative support for personnel searches and hiring through People Admin software. Responsible for assistance and guidance of faculty in making travel arrangements beginning with the TA and completion of TR Point of contact for operation and servicing of copiers and printers. Applicant has knowledge of general accounting procedures with a working relationship with contacts in HR, Financial Operations, Purchasing Payroll and the budget office. Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally in person and by phone, and in writing with public/faculty/administration in a professional manner and maintain effective working relationships. Maintains inventory reports. Exceptional ability to plan and organize work to perform a variety of functions; ability to work both in clinic and administrative offices. I also have the ability to work effectively in high stress, fast paced environments. Two years of experience in a customer service environment. Five years of experience using MS Office programs including Excel, Word and Outlook. High level of attention to detail. Ability to calculate monthly reconciliation reports, able to deal with upset students, parents and faculty/staff. I am a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision. Able to maintain an effective working relationship. Excellent oral and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicating with both internal and external customers.
