To manage the daily operations and the staff of the assigned studio(s) to meet or exceed the company goals in: Sales & Profits Photographic Excellence Guest Experience/Satisfaction • Team Member Engagement Responsible for: • 1 to 3 Studios

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Photography

Take portraits that exceed Guest expectations and the company’s quality and creativity standards. Capture a broad range of creative & emotional-provoking portraits for Guests. Convey enthusiasm and excitement to Guests and Team Members regarding the various elements of a portrait:

facial expression, eye contact, emotion, body placement, background, props, enhancements, etc. Sales

Coach studio staff to meet or exceed sales growth, sitting, sales average, and labor goals: Know current packaging, pricing and promotion information and communicate them accurately to Guests.

Use the specified selling techniques.

Execute proper sales transaction procedures and recording accurate Guest and sales information on cash register, receipts, and reports.

Implement studio programs to increase sales, sales averages, and sittings. Follow merchandising guidelines to enhance sales and increase traffic flow and identity of studio. Promote business by generating rapport with Guests and providing outstanding Guest service. Implementing local business growth tactics and exceeding expectations in studio sitting generation. Merchandising/Inventory Management

Ensure portraits are checked into studio and audited against the on-line packing slip. Ensure frames and accessories are merchandised and stocked to plan. Guest Service and Safety

Meet or exceed Guests' needs and expectations while upholding company policies. Handle Guest complaints by applying the appropriate Service Recovery steps. Ensure that all Guest inquiries and complaints are adequately responded to on the day they are received. Maintain awareness of the activities of children in the studio to avoid accidents; demonstrate concern for the safety and

health of children and Guests and follow child/Guest safety procedures. Report Guest or Team Member accidents on a timely basis by accurately completing accident report forms.

Ensure the studio is free from safety hazards or that hazards are corrected. Ensure proper repair and cleanliness of props, blankets and carpets. Expense Control

Audit and report studio revenues, expenses, and profits. Provide suggestions to improve all aspects of studio operations. Ensure proper control of expense items (e.g., operating supplies, utilities, telephone, and postage). Operations

Comply with, communicate, and enforce all company and host store's personnel and operational standards, such as: Scheduling of Team Members.

Report completion.

Online Timekeeping.

End-of-day clean-up and documentation.

Studio appearance.

Maintenance of studio equipment and supplies.

Safety and employee and Guest accident prevention and reporting. Zone coverage.

Following proper scheduled disposal of portraits and Guest sitting records. Security and loss prevention of company and host store assets.

Proper cash handling (e.g., deposits, P.O.S. procedures). Ability to work a variety of shifts to ensure maximum communication with team members and Guests. This will include, but is not limited to a minimum of four ‘open to close’ weekend days and 1 weekday evening per month. This expectation may flex based on the needs of the business and studio performance.

Staffing and Labor Management

Recruit, interview, and hire Team Members

Schedule Team Members to ensure that studio functions are performed in a manner that contributes to increased sales

while meeting or exceeding profitability goals and Guest service and operational standards. Monitor and manage labor costs.

Explain bonus and/or incentive programs to Team Members as applicable. Monitor Team Member's performance and complete performance appraisals and compensation adjustment requests in a

timely manner.

Promote positive employee relations.

Coach Team Members who are not meeting performance expectations and follow the Performance Improvement

process when appropriate.

Document reasons for termination of employment for Team Member and make termination requests to the District Manager when appropriate.

Training and Development

Participate in photography training and apply the skills learned; welcome and be open to feedback on photography in order to enhance skill levels.

Provide training for Team Members to ensure competency in: Photography standards. Sales.

Guest Service.

Operations.

Provide training for Team Members to ensure they meet and exceed their individual sales and profitability goals and

positively contribute to the studio.

Counsel and coach Team Members to meet and exceed performance expectations and photography and safety

standards.

Motivate and direct Team Members to achieve high performance through effective leadership. Foster an empowering environment.

Foster creativity.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain positive relations with host store/mall management and associates. Proactively provide input to the District Manager on sitting, pricing, merchandising, and promotion strategies.

Troubleshoot problems and consult with the District Manager on areas of concern and possible solutions. Complete special projects or duties as assigned.

May work at another studio location when requested by supervisor. Assist in training new Studio Managers when requested by supervisor. Education
