· Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations

· Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
· Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels

· Install and maintain/test motors, switching equipment, MCCs, breakers, fuses, lighting, receptacles, valves, solenoids, pressure and heat sensors.
· Testing new and old cabling and circuits with metering equipment.
· I have installed and wired PLCs and worked closely with the programmer to ensure that the result of these large systems is satisfactory to the customer.
· Installing and troubleshooting PLC and networks associated with PLCs.
· I can size transformers, wires, breakers, and in general electrical services with little help from a code book.
· Installing VFDs, and setting them up with their motor parameters. Troubleshooting faults on VFDs.
· Worked with large generators here as well as large power distribution equipment. As such I know how to hook them up, ground them, and make sure they are working properly.
· Commercial installation of fire alarm class A and B. completing verification with engineer to codes and specifications.
