Solely responsible for scheduling, shipping, and receiving for the Lavonia facility inside U.S. and oversea.
Worked in Decatur GA for 2 months to train and move all MRO supplies from Decatur GA to Lavonia GA at plant start up. Set up and organized new supply room. Implemented scanning system for outgoing parts in supply room.
Ordered all MRO supplies for machines, safety, IT, janitorial, and office supplies. Worked supply, shipping and receiving for two years alone and added one team member- splitting duties. Also, purchasing duties for little over one year.
Obtained quotes for all MRO supplies and negotiated pricing. Ensured correct documentation received for chemical, yarn purchases to comply with ISO9000 auditing and Fenner’s terms and conditions of purchase. Sought new suppliers and provided savings in MRO parts by finding new suppliers.
Responsible for preparation of all shipping documents and coordinating incoming/outgoing shipments for the Lavonia facility for consumables, yarn, chemicals, and conveyor belts. This included international paperwork for Canadian and oversea shipments. Earned “Hazardous Shipment Certificate” in order to ship and receive hazardous chemicals.
Responsible for coordinating with fork lift drivers and truck drivers to ensure appropriate product was loaded on correct truck within time limit of two hours to avoid overage charges.
