Inventory Management - The store had two transfers a week and a quarterly inventory for which I was responsible.
Customer Care - This involved helping customers resolve their issues in a kind and professional way. That means complaints about product, which could include anything from damages to wrong size; delivery, which could involve helping to reschedule a customer delivery or any issues upon delivery; or setting up any type of return/exchange for the customer.
Administrative Duties - This included checking the store email for local and corporate issues, working on orders that need to be finalized finalized, and completing frequent training modules. Also, I made sure that the showroom floor was always neat, and the back rooms were clean. Training - This was a six-week training program that covered the company's selling process and operating system. I also helped train several full-time and part-time employees on sell tactics such as: closing techniques, overcoming objections, and more.
Traveling - As an Assistant Manager I was required to travel to other stores within the district if needed; which is about a 50-mile Radius.
Sales - For the past 7 years I have creatively and consistently increased sales and hit monthly budgets. In 2019 I helped increase store sales to 3.5 Million (120% increase year over year), by individually selling 1.1 Million. I've since wrote over a million 3 times and have received numerous awards for selling 100K in a single month. I was recently awarded Sleep Expert of the quarter, and I've received many other awards. In the past 2 years I've been #1 or #2 in a region of over 300 sales associates. Education
