** ***** ***, ** ****** University, Dr. Thomas Boyle [one of three creators of M77] hired James as an Assignments Grader after he aced freshman Fortran programming. James’ duties expanded to creation of example code for distribution after assignments to demonstrate ideal coding structure and comments that illustrate core concepts, then was asked to cover all office hours and tutoring. James was titled “TA” as an under-graduate. Hired for summer work at I.U. Medical Center for Full SDLC delivery of sys-tems: Requirements Analysis/Documentation, Systems and Data Architecture, full sys-tems delivery and user instruction.
After working at an AT&T Bell Laboratories, he was recruited for design and delivery of a network-distributed-processing real-time SPC plant-floor control system that has dom-inated all airplane, rocket and auto makers.Upon completion of this system, he went on to Eli Lilly to document their batch controls, then single-handed Full SDLC Design and delivery of Indiana’s Smart-Grid Power Control System for WVPA that is still in use to-day.
From this point forward James was brought in after multiple failures to deliver strategic and mission-critical projects, both individually and via the Management of Teams. 25 years governance and 22 years as a Senior Manager reporting to the AVP-CIO level working in large enterprises leveraging these skills in a more strategic capacity.
His history of corporate turnarounds includes large data-set enterprise systems, involv-ing complex processing and rigorous integration demands. All projects taken on were after one or more credentialed and experienced project managers had failed.
