Refugee clinic fundraiser

I raised over $400 by playing the piano as a part of the 2020 Halifax Refugee Clinic Fundraiser to raise money to support refugees coming into the city who depend on the resources that the clinic provides. Founder of the English as a Second Language Book Club at Citadel High School

Founded in order for students to have more resources when learning English in a more relaxed environment, outside of the classroom. The book club works with students in the school that are learning English as a second language by providing them with appropriate level books along with a CD inorder for students..

Volunteered for non-profit organization that raised money to buy families in the Dominican Republic Chickens

The Chickens for The Dominican Republic is a non-profit club that raises money through fundraisers and ra es at our school. The profits go towards buying chickens for families in the Dominican Writer for the Student Newspaper: The Trollope Times Member from 2019-2020.

I have written articles about school functions and committees by interviewing students and teachers and in doing so I have been able to inform other students about clubs and opportunities that they may not know about.

Member of The Clean Up Crew at my school. The club organizes litter clean-ups at popular provincial parks and trails within Halifax every weekend for 1-2 hours since the start of the school year.
