Loan Default Prediction Model
• Built a model to predict default probability of clients. Applied tree-based models, linear/logistic regression, and neural network models. Further compared different models’ performance.
• Determined gradient boosting as the best fitting model regards to model complexity, shorter run time, and 90% accuracy rate with less variables than random forest model.
• Conducted principal component analysis to identify major PCs and deployed K-means clustering to categorize clients under different groups. Researched for the characteristics within default group. Image Recognition using Neural Network
• Developed neural network model to auto identify handwritten number in images by training with MNIST database containing 60,000 images using TensorFlow in Python with 97.5% accuracy.
