While working at East Lawn Funeral Home I was responsible for all the lawn care needs on the property, operation of the heavy equipment needed to open and close burial sites. This was the very first job I had after graduating high school, it taught me how to do a job with pride, while showing respect for others.

10/2000 to 11/2004, Bristol Tn.

While working at Exide Technologies I had the opportunity to operate the most important machine on the line in order to process the product that was being made.

When I started at Exide Technologies I was making around eight dollars an hour. At the end of my tenure I was making over fifty thousand dollars a year. The work was production work and you got paid for how hard you worked. I was in charge of the best line on the production floor, because of my drive to have the best crew on the shift. 11/2004 to 12/2012, Blounville Tn.

I started with the Sullivan County Sheriffs Office in the corrections division in 2004. In 2007, I was promoted to the patrol division. During my career at the Sullivan County Sheriffs Office I also won Police Officer of the year. 03/2013 to 09/2018, Blounville Tn.

At the Tri-Cities Airport I was responsible for many duties while working at the facility. During the twelve hour work day I was a (PSO), Public Safety Officer. I was responsible to respond to police, fire and all medical calls that may occur in, on, or around the facility.

In 2013, I attended amd completed the Aircraft Rescue Firefighter (ARFF) School in Lexington Kentucky. Successfully won Police Office of the year at the department in 2014 Certified ASP ( collapsible baton) Instructor

Also while being employed at the Tri-Cities Airport I have had the honor to work four Presidential details. Former President Bush, Former President Obama and twice for Former President Trump. Also I was an Active Shooter Instructor

08/2018 to Present, Blounville Tn.

In 2018 I went back to the Sullivan County Sheriffs Office to take a job as a SRO (School Resource Officer) at Colonial Heights Middle School. While serving on the SWAT Team as well as the Fugitive Apprehension Team. In 2020 I had the opportunity to be promoted to the Detective division. In December 2021 I got the opportunity and the privilege to be promoted as a Sergeant over the patrol as a supervisor over a shift.

Life Saving Award
