SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
In my career, as a District Loss Prevention Manager, I have managed areas between 8 to 65 Big Box Stores. I have been responsible for developing and training all Store Associates and Operations Management, in LP Awareness and compliance issues, utilizing exception based reporting. I conducted monthly compliance audits for all my stores, as well as maintained my district’s Safety programs. I would conduct New Hire training, as well as maintain and forecast my quarterly and yearly operational budgets, utilizing P&L goals. I was responsible for hiring and developing LP Managers and hourly Associates, as well as prepare performance reviews for each of my teams. I would conduct extensive, Internal and External Investigations, as well as preparing and filing all the proper documentation, for prosecution. I was instrumental in developing an audit program, for our Distribution Center, to help keep a better handle on integrity issues, directly impacting overall accuracy for the company. I would develop strong partnership, with all Stores, District and corporate partner’s and would keep an open dialog of communications, to minimize operational delays.
During my first year in my previous position, I strived to rebuild a solid, productive district, improving in all aspects of productivity and team building for the Dallas area. I was directly responsible for impacting an increased level of successful internal and external apprehensions for the year, as well as achieving the lowest shrink results for Region 80, earning me, Loss Prevention Group Manager of the Year, for Region 80. In the time with this company, I have met and exceeded all expectations and goals, for my district, earning me above average marks in my yearly appraisals. In my time with Burke’s Outlet, I have been responsible for a high level of successful Internal Investigations/Interviews. During my tenure in Loss Prevention, I have successfully investigated over 4,000 Internal Investigations, on both Dishonest Employee, as well as HR Investigations. During my time in Law Enforcement, I was also responsible for investigating major criminal and civil investigations, up to and including, successful interviewing and submission of cases for prosecutions. I have also been instrumental in utilizing my bilingual skills, to successfully interview, Spanish speaking dishonest employees and criminal suspects, which lead to successful admissions and positive resolution of fraud cases.
