• Worked in W&L’s Sleep and Stress Psychophysiology Lab under Dr. Ryan Brindle, PhD. Research focuses on the inappropriate metabolic response that arises under mental stress and the impact of stress reactivity on disease outcomes. Responsibilities include testing participants, using biofeedback equipment (EKG, blood pressure, spirometry), and data processing with SPSS. Conducted additional individual research as a summer research scholar, focusing on adverse childhood experiences and their effect on blood pressure reactivity under stress.

• Worked in the James Graham Leyburn Library during each academic year. Managed inventory, maintained facility organization, and offered front desk customer support.
