Objectives
My mission is to work for an organization whose objective is to manage the healthcare needs and well being of members in the community using ethics, integrity, and compassion to provide cost effective healthcare. I want to be a part of an organization that is sensitive to the needs of the population served, values the trust of the community and uses current guidelines, recommendations and research to drive patient care. I desire to use these principles to help close the gaps in access to medical care and make a difference despite the present challenges in the healthcare industry.

Personal
I am an advanced practice nurse trained as both a clinical nurse specialist and a nurse practitioner. I thrive in an environment where clear goals are set with a plan in place for achievement, even if the goals include program development. I have assumed leadership roles in education and staff development. I am detailed and self-directed with experience in assuming many tasks.
I have two young adult children who are studying at the university. I enjoy spending time with my children and grand dog, traveling, visiting museums, learning about world history and the development of civilization. Participating in community development activities, watching sports and documentaries and playing board games are other favorite pastimes. 6
