My perfect schedule would be 3-12 hour shifts.
I have been a CNA for about 23 years, but have also done other jobs in between. I am a "night owl" so I do prefer overnights and then days would be my 2nd choice. I have recently been re-certified as I had to take my exam again because it had lapsed. I did still work as a CNA, as you can legally work without being “active” on the registry for 4 months & then it’s up to the facility if they want to keep you on longer. However, like I said...I am now active on the registry as id May 04,2021.
Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Work Experience
CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant
Skowhegan, Maine
Private Duty Hospice Worker
May 2021-September 2021
-I worked overnight shifts that consisted of anywhere between 17 straight hours to 25 straight hours. My lady was bed ridden so I performed all care for her. I also took care of her medications.
CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant
WOODLAWN NURSING HOME - Skowhegan, ME January 2020 to March 2020
I was an overnight CNA. Unfortunately I came down with pneumonia X2 and then Covid-19 and was taken out of work on the morning of March 18th when I got out of work. When unemployment asked me to ask them if my job was still available once I recovered they would not respond to my phone calls, emails, and finally I received a text message that said "Carrie you no longer work here". They wrongfully terminated me.
CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant
Trinity Health - Waterville, ME May 2017 to August 2018
CNA)
Most of my shifts were on the "psych" unit.
Unfortunately I had to temp resign due to unreliable transportation.

Additional Information
At the moment I am currently looking to do some “traveling CNA assignments”. I have recently taken my CNA exam again (May) and in April I received my BLS. My “ideal” shifts would be 3-12hr overnight shifts & the next would be the day shift. I am extremely passionate about my work. I am comfortable working alone or side by side w/a teammate. I am willing to offer my help to anyone as we truly are a TEAM & at the end of my shift, all that matters is that each resident/patient is well taken care of, comfortable, & have everything they need. I am reliable, attentive, detail oriented, passionate, dependable, trustworthy, honest, organized, patient, & compassionate. I take my job very seriously & truly love and appreciate what I do.
